Great fit. Beautiful look. Constantly receiving compliments.
I had been targeted by ads for this shoe for months and was so excited when I finally decided to pull the trigger and purchase them. I have flat feet and weak knees, so I was a little apprehensive at buying them, but after reading positive reviews about how comfortable they were, I went for it! I eagerly waited for them arrive and when they finally did, they did not disappoint! They looked incredible! The box and instructions recommended that I wear the shoes inside for 4 hours to break them in and to try them out since they were not able to be returned. After four hours of wearing them inside, they felt fine, so I decided to keep them and take them out for a day. BIG MISTAKE. After wearing these shoes all day, my feet were POUNDING and knees were in pain. The shoes offered no support at the heel and caused me to be in pain all day. I was really disappointed that they weren’t more comfortable, but the real problem was the the zero traction. These shoes have ZERO grip on the ground and I found myself sliding a lot and actually slipped and fell once on the concrete, which contributed to my knee pain. When I reached out to customer support, they were unable to assist since I wore the shoes and they don’t accept returns or refunds for worn shoes. I really expected not to have issues like these on $300 shoes and am really disappointed that this happened and that they weren’t able to help me, given the circumstances. I really wanted to like these shoes, but now I’m stuck with shoes that are uncomfortable, cause me pain, cause me to slip, and were super expensive. Overall, this was a very poor experience. STAY AWAY!
I love these boots they go great with a suit or a pair of pants.
I love them so much. They are so clean and make you feel good. I loved that I could exchange the ones I ordered that were too big. I can wear them with anything as well!
I bought myself a second pair of Taft for my birthday. I loved the first pair I got from them and wear it almost daily. I wore them for the first time and noticed that something was poking at me. At first I thought it was a pebble, but to my surprise it was instead a literal nail poking out of the sole. I looked to see if I had stepped on a nail, but no - it was just a terrible mistake during manufacturing. I contacted customer service, expecting premium service given the premium pricing. Considering the severity of their mistake, I was expecting them to send me a new pair immediately but no - instead I was asked to send the pair back. I’m pretty busy and I’ve zero time to go and ship shoes I’ve paid $300 to purchase, but they refused to send me another pair without me sending the unusable pair back to them. I’m sure people make complaints all the time for scuffs and scratches. I’d understand the company wanting those shoes back before sending a new pair. But my pair are literally unusable!! So now I’ve spent $300 on nothing. Will never purchase from Taft again.
