Jack Boots in Green
I've worn the green jack boot just a few times but they are great. They are comfortable straight out of the box and only get better with a few wears. I purchased them specifically because they were my favorite look of the rubber soled options (I live in the midwest, where leather soles just don't last long). They look awesome, especially with blue jeans, and seem very durable for a dress type boot. The outsole is a soft rubber, but seems like it will last a long time, and helps with the comfort of the boots overall. As for sizing, I'm a 9.5 C on a brannock. I ordered size 9 and it's perfect. They are long and narrow boots.
I love the shoes! I get compliments all the time when I wear them.
Best. Boots. Ever.
The Jack Boots are top shelf. My second pair of Taft’s and definitely not my last. Very rugged. I wear them to work/office job, but never take them off when I get home and wear them around the shop and acreage. Holding up incredibly well. Wasn’t sure how the wool uppers would hold up—can’t believe it was ever a concern because they are wearing very, very well and still look brand new and I am NOT babying these boots. Love the rubber soles on these boots. Super comfortable.
Jack Boots in Green
This is my second pair of Taft shoes. Being impressed with my Kennedys in grey, I decided to try the jackboot and saw they had them in my favorite green. At first I was worried that the colors would be too vibrant after looking at some customer pictures on google, but I couldn’t be more happy with how they really look in person. I prefer muted colors and these are perfect. Taft’s shoes and boots do run big so if anybody is considering buying some then they should definitelt research their sizing. I found that a full size down was perfect for me. The jack boot is quite comfortable right out of the box so I’m excited to break them in to see how much more comfortable they get. The rubber sole is also a plus as I wasn’t able to wear my kennedys in wet weather because of their leather soles. I’ve always found boots to be rather big and clunky, but Taft’s design is impressively sleek and elegant. Well done Taft, These won’t be my last pair.
