When will I receive the product?

"Hard to write a review without receiving the product with the lack luster info provided regarding shipping info/status. Probably the worst I have seen with any online vendor. I do like Taft products but I should have realized this would happen again. Will think twice next time."

The Taupe for All-Day

"The newer construction in the Russel loafer creates an all-day wear degree of comfort. The look is still prestigious! The eden jacquard trim is a great touch with this shoe and amps the simpler lines on this deep toned loafer. The shoe is equally attractive in both business casual as well as with a pair of jeans."

"Definitely beautiful. The overall look is absolutely perfect. The quality and feel of it is exactly what you would expect. Taft definitely hit the target with this one! An amazing product from an amazing brand. Overall service was a 10 out of 10."

Never received!

"This is the second time I am reviewing you poorly and I emailed you. I have never received my shoes! The label was created and that is it. They have never left your warehouse! Gregg Fraker"

5 Stars for Visibility - Absolute Disappointment.

"Taft has now partnered with an incredibly dishonest and unreliable shipping agent called Uniuni (known better for working with Temu, Shein, and Tiktok) who has so far done nothing but lie to me about attempting to contact me regarding a second order I have in transit. I received no text, no phone call, and no email at any time regarding either of these packages except for a very unprofessional looking message I mistook for a scam when their "attempt to contact failed. " No attempt was made whatsoever and their customer support insists on continuing this lie. The package with these loafers was delivered again without any effort whatsoever being made to contact me or ensure the security of the package and at this price point, package theft is a very real anxiety. I have expressed my concern and displeasure with Taft directly and am yet to hear back. I do not expect any resolution to any longer be possible and I also no longer expect this new company that Taft has sadly become to be proactive with a refund so what was supposed to be a treat to myself has become an actual nightmare. Of all the corners to cut for costs, creating a poor delivery experience was perhaps the worst decision. The loafers themselves reflect an incredible decline in quality from the older pairs of Taft boots I own. They are at best a 3 star product and for this price they are a 0 star disappointment. I am making some allowance for the design, but the suede and the leather of these shoes are both completely inferior to those used on either my Drake boots or Gladiator boots from several yeas ago. Feels more like a plastic product than natural materials. They also fit extremely poorly, but the suede is of such poor quality the shoes no longer look new enough for a return even after just pacing my living room. I also am so completely disinterested in attempting to do anything that would require more shipping through their fly by night partner Uniuni that I'm just going to eat the cost. Whatever happened in the last year or two, this is clearly NOT the Taft I shopped with loyally for 7 years and whose older products I wear on a daily basis. I do not recommend this brand, this experience, or this product and highly recommend buying footwear elsewhere."

Absolutely beautiful!

"Love these loafers! The Eden edge detail is such a nice touch with the suede on these amazing Russell loafers. Taft has done it again!"

Stylish, But Not Taft’s Best

"I’ve purchased five pairs of Taft shoes in the past and have genuinely enjoyed all of them, which is why I felt comfortable ordering this pair. Unfortunately, this one was a bit of a letdown. First, they run small. I would definitely recommend sizing up, especially if you’re between sizes. Comfort-wise, the sole is noticeably different from previous Taft shoes I own. Instead of feeling sturdy and supportive, the bottom feels very soft, almost rubbery, and less durable than what I’ve come to expect from the brand. Another drawback is traction. The soles are quite smooth and don’t offer much grip, which makes them feel less secure on certain surfaces. That said, they do look great. Taft still nails the design and aesthetics. Overall, these shoes are just okay. Not bad, but they don’t live up to the quality and structure of earlier Taft pairs I’ve owned. If you’re buying them, I’d suggest sizing up and keeping expectations in check, especially if you’re familiar with Taft’s older styles."
