"I have been a "boot" guy for decades. When I came across this Lewis boot with the embossed pattern, it was something different so why not. The boot is made very well; I had a little concern about the side zipper but that too appears to be very sturdy. Very easy to get in and out of (the shoehorn works well here thanks). The black and gold color with embossed pattern I can be sure I am the only one wearing this boot around my area. I own and operate a BBQ rest. & bar so they fit right in. Many positive compliments and the boot is very comfortable. I wear them from late afternoon to early morning and they are easy on the feet. Nice shoes but didn’t fit.
"I wear a 9 1/2 and when I receive them, my feet wouldn’t even come close to fitting in them. So I returned them and awaiting for a for a refund. After a day, I decided to re-order another pair and a larger size and I’m hoping those will fit me. Other than that, I think they’re really nicely made shoes for what I could can see."

"This is my 2nd pair of boots from Taft. My first pair I wore to my wedding, then dental school interviews, then dental school & then my graduation. I’ve loved these boots so much that this pair was a gift I bought myself after getting my first pay check out of school. You can dress these up for high toned & fancy events or even more casual nights. Extremely comfortable, great fit, they age incredible, & the workmanship is consistently top tier. Taft is the brand I’m standing by."

Taft with a zipper!!!
"This is my 2nd boot from Taft. I had no idea they made boots with side zipper. It’s a game changer. I always get compliments on my Taft boots. And I was expecting that “break in” hurt feeling. I think it took 30 minutes of the leather to get adjusted. And then I was fine. My normal size feels a bit big but the leather will adjust to your foot and u can buy an insole."
