"I can't be sure why this show style did not blowup. This shoe carries presence in each step. The olive tone is great green. The rugged tread gives you style in a couple of inches of snow. The width gives great comfort in each wear"
"I love my new boots. I'm always looking for boots I can wear year-round, but in New England everything is hiking boots, which aren't any fun. . . Along came these. And with a soft spot for tweed, I was sold. I though I'd need to "break them in," but they wear incredibly comfortable from the box. And they feel well-made, and while I'm at it, at least 10 people have pointed at my feet and said "wow what are those!""
"I got so many compliments and the boots are comfortable for all day wear."
"I bought them for my son who is friends with the original owner. He has several pair of Taft. I bought them for Christmas and he was shocked. I hit a home run. Don't ask me if I like the shoes because I'm almost 70 years old and I have been out of style for 25 years."
"I purchased The Boston Boot in Honey online from TAFT Clothing (Last Chance sale price = $129. 99). This is my first pair of Taft footwear. The boots fit true to size and are comfortable to wear. The boots look very unique -- I like the look of the tweed wool with the leather -- but I am disappointed in the quality of the materials (mediocre) and the craftsmanship (moderate to low-end). The boots were made in El Salvador (not in Spain), which is not disclosed in the listing on the website. All in all, there's no way I would spend more than $129 for boots of this middling quality . . . and even that price seems a bit high for what I got. I probably won't buy Taft boots again."
"Looks great with khaki's or jeans, this boot is da bomb! Stylish and well made. You can tell that it is proud to be a part of the TAFT family of shoes."
"The boots look very nice and the ankles are comfortable."
"Very comfortable right out of the box. High quality construction and attention to detail. Looks great with jeans or chinos. Highly recommend."
"A very handsome boot, although the toe box is a bit narrow."
