These shoes turn heads wherever I go and get me compliments from men and women. I can rock them everywhere! Work, casual, and on a date. Super comfy! Love em.
I love the quality and comfort. I take these on frequent business trips that keeps me moving through airports and meetings with these on and my feet don't complain one bit. I will be buying more soon!
Love how they look and feel
There is Taft and then everyone else...
My second pair of Tafts and I could not be happier!! I think it is safe to say that I'm a customer for life. I often get compliments on the look and boy do they set off an outfit. I'll go into the perfect fit, the build quality, **** even the unboxing experience. Top notch! I own dress shoes that cost more than my Tafts but they have been on the bench since these shoes have come into my life. No doubt another pair will be appearing on my door in the near future.
Jack Shoe grey & oxblood
I purchased the Jack shoe in grey and oxblood for my sister in laws wedding. I was a groomsman and my wife a bridesmaid. So we groomsmen were allowed to pick our own shoes. Everyone wanted to know where I got them. I told them although I was hesitant to let them in on the secret. They looked sharp w/ the navy slacks, white shirt, blush tie and suspenders to match the shoe. I spit shined the **** out of them so they would stand out a bit more. I used Kelly’s shoe cream (cordovan/burgundy) they don’t have an oxblood option. Kiwi does, but polish is labor intensive, and leaves potential scuff marks, if you miss your mark. I love the wool and leather contrasts, but it’s the color contrast that originally got my attention when I first saw the Jack Boot on my news feed on Instagram over a year ago. I don’t usually drop $100 on shoes let alone over $200 but Grey & Oxblood was the perfect combination of sophistication and style that I’d seen in a dress shoe. I received more compliments on this pair of shoes than any article of clothing I’ve ever worn. I’m not a guy who dresses up often. I’m a carpenter and I like to be comfortable, so I don’t put a suit on very often. I hardly ever wear anything else aside from sweats and t-shirts but may look forward to dressing the part more now than in the past. Wish I’d purchased the boot, so I could find more excuses to wear them. I’ll try to incorporate some different things or just buy a pair of boots. I’ve already decided on my next Taft purchase to order the high top in coffee which is more suited to my natural attire and I imagine they’ll get some attention also. This online purchase was a painless experience. They do the shoe experience as well as I’ve ever seen. Each shoe comes w/ a drawstring cotton bag to protect the investment as well as a shoe horn w/ the Taft logo, which was a perfect touch. These are dress shoes so they need to be broken in a bit, but more comfortable than I expected. Usually the soles of my feet are in pain after spending a few hours on my feet dancing in this type of shoe but these have support and comfort. Mild ankle scratch from navigating the dance floor w/ my wife all night. The shoes arrived quickly and worth every cent, but don’t get any ideas of raising prices bc I will continue to purchase shoes from Taft as they have many tasteful styles and products that I’m anxiously looking to add to my collection. I look forward to seeing what else the design team comes up with. Love to see some of the variations from the dress shoe and boot line applied to the sneakers. Oxblood and Cream/off white type of thing seems to appeal to my minds eye. Keep up the fine work & creativity. Excellent shoes made w/ some serious craftsmanship
