"I’m really surprised at the 4. 9 star reviews. This care kit was an add on after I ordered my 5th pair of Taft boots and considering how much I like their products, I was ready for it to be great, especially after I paid only $25. It was “meh”. It’s well packaged, useful, quality, however, the contents are worth about $25 or less. A quick gander at Amazon would give you pause. A similar kit would cost less than $20. Not even the top of the line 20 piece kit with 5 different polishes, multiple tools and brushes with a leather bag is more than $55. Bottom Line: If I had paid $30, I’d be ok. . . If I’d have paid $40, I’d feel like I’d been taken advantage of. . . at $75 retail, I’d frankly feel different about my relationship with Taft boots. Don’t misunderstand me, I enjoy my Taft boots, however, For their investment cost of their products, I’d actually like to see Taft offer a care kit with their shoes. If not, they should bring the price way down. Given what you can buy elsewhere, it’s just not of value any higher $25"
