Bringing back a Taft favorite.

Meet the Viking Boot in Stone, our most anticipated release of the season.  This is our most heavy duty boot, featuring a Vibram combat sole, and a specially-developed leather with Charles F. Stead in England.  Durable, stylish, and our Founder's all-time favorite.

This leather has been specially developed in collaboration with Charles F. Stead tannery in Leeds, England. Due to the multiple milling and tanning processes associated with the production, irregularities in the leather are to be expected and are a part of the character of this boot. If you are looking for a perfect, regular leather boot, please take note of this before purchasing. The Viking Boot runs small, we recommend sizing up.

Sizing Guide
All TAFT boots and shoes are designed to match standard US dress shoe sizes. In general this particular style runs small, we suggest using our “Find my size” feature.

Bold Styles, Unique Designs

We design with boldness in mind to ensure that all our products are as unique and stylish as you. You will not find shoes like this anywhere else.

Full-Grain Leathers

We only use vegetable-tanned, chromium-free, full-grain leathers. These high-quality leathers make our shoes durable and comfortable. We partner with some of the best mills and tanneries in the world to produce bold and unique styles.

Handmade by Artisans

Every product is hand made by a generational shoemaker in Spain or Portugal. Every piece of leather is painted and stained by hand to give a beautiful finish that is unique to each shoe. The entire process of making a TAFT item is guided by human touch, allowing us to use only the best sections of the leather.

Cool boots

Have wanted these boots for a long time and finally they were in stock and I had the $$$ to invest for fall/winter. So glad I finally bought them. Comfortable from 1st wear, look stylish (lots of compliments), and keep my feet warm and dry.

My third purchase from Taft. OUT OF THIS WORLD IN STYLE! Nothing wrong with the build either. There is no other pair of boots like these on this earth. Grand slam home run by Taft.

These boots are beautiful and unique, and always get lots of compliments. Had to size up because they run a bit narrow and my first pair was uncomfortable. Perfect fit now with the larger size.

How To Measure

For fail proof measure please take the time to measure your foot.
  1. Put a piece of paper on the ground next to a wall
  2. Standing firmly on the piece of paper with your heel slightly touching the wall, mark the paper where your foot is the longest (most likely at the tip of your big toe)
  3. With a ruler, measure the distance from the wall to the mark on the paper (indicating the longest part of your foot)
  4. Take that measurement and match it with a measurement in the “Inches” column in the size chart.
    • Wear socks when measuring your feet
    • Measure your feet at the end of the day, as your feet tend to expand throughout the day
    • Measure both of your feet, as one may be bigger than the other
