Description

Meet the Viking Boot in Hunter. This is our heaviest duty boot, featuring Vibram combat sole, and a specially-developed pebbled green leather with Charles F. Stead in England.  Durable, stylish, and an instant favorite.

This leather has been specially developed in collaboration with Charles F. Stead tannery in Leeds, England. Due to the multiple milling and tanning processes associated with the production, irregularities in the leather are to be expected and are a part of the character of this boot. The Viking Boot runs small, we recommend sizing up.

A beautiful green

It wasn’t long ago that I was searching through these reviews myself to see if the Taft shoe company and more importantly which styles of shoe would really live up to what they seemed, especially for the price. I myself said I’d buy my favorite 2 looks of boots because of how much they were. For me that was this one and the jack boot in industrial. Now I’m inclined to also pick up the Viking boot in white. But to the Viking boot in hunter review: I like them. They have a pretty crazy light green hue (perhaps lighter than the photos) that makes them delightfully unique. I don’t expect to meet or see anyone else wearing these so it looks like I’ll have the monopoly on the look for the foreseeable future, and I like that :) the fit is good, I have wide wide feet and followed the sizing guide, and it works. But even if it doesn’t, sounds like you can exchange no problem. Customer service was excellent. I was allowed to get in on a sale that came up right after I purchased my shoes. A few compliments from my friends on the shoes, but to be fair i had already shared my excitement with them concerning the shoes so they knew already. All said, If you’re gonna buy 1 or 2 pies of shoes from Taft, and you think you like these, they’re probably for you. God bless

Definite 5 star boot

Been wearing my viking boots for a few months now. From the moment I first laced them up they have been my favorite and most comfortable boot. Love the color too.

ZERO REGRETS

Seriously, love the quality of those boots and was worried about ordering it in the hunter green color… but upon arrival, I instantly fell in love. ZERO REGRETS. Thanks so much, Taft!

Sizing Guide

How To Measure

For fail proof measure please take the time to measure your foot.
  1. Put a piece of paper on the ground next to a wall
  2. Standing firmly on the piece of paper with your heel slightly touching the wall, mark the paper where your foot is the longest (most likely at the tip of your big toe)
  3. With a ruler, measure the distance from the wall to the mark on the paper (indicating the longest part of your foot)
  4. Take that measurement and match it with a measurement in the “Inches” column in the size chart.
    • Wear socks when measuring your feet
    • Measure your feet at the end of the day, as your feet tend to expand throughout the day
    • Measure both of your feet, as one may be bigger than the other
