These shoes are made very nicely. Only thing is depending on your shoe size and how these fit, since the buckles are opposing and on independent straps that lay adjacent to each other, the middle may fold and expose the tongue of the shoe when pivoting and walking. However, still a very nice pair of shoes and the color is awesome.
Incredible work — every time.
I purchased some seconds during a sale but man, I can't personally see anything wrong with them. They are extremely beautiful and fit great. However, I wear a 9 in bikes, 8.5 vans and the size 7 fits perfect. Customer service is always amazing with taft. Haven't had a chance to wear them out do to covid but I know they're gonna be looker's!
Taft always finds a way to put a twist on classic designs. These double monks will turn heads because of the “crisscrossing” style, but the design is simple enough that they work well in place of a normal brown dress shoe. Comfort has been fantastic on all my Taft shoes, to the point that I recommend them to anyone looking to get a new pair.
This is a pair of shoes I have been able to wear throughout the day without my feet hurting and the style and craftsmanship is second to none. Great pair shoes!
