Description

THIS ITEM IS PART OF OUR VIP ONLY SALE (this item is NOT a seconds - it is either a surplus, sunset, or sample). Please Note: Because of the heavily discounted nature of this product, all warehouse purchases are FINAL SALE. No returns/exchanges will be offered on this product. What is a Surplus / Sunset / Sample? We either made too much of this product, decided to “sunset” this style (meaning it will no longer be available), or this was a sample ordered from our factory. These items are first quality goods and do not have seconds imperfections.

Meet The Dragon 2.0 in London Fog. We took all the magic of the original Dragon and coupled it with some thoughtful and unique upgrades. We switched over to a sleek, strong nylon pull tab that your pants can easily slip over without getting caught. The 2.0s feature a Ridgeway sole to be even more flexible and comfortable from the first wear and even sturdier in wet conditions. We left the welt and heel stack natural to provide a bit of contrast. In true TAFT fashion, we added a heavy texture to the Stead Waxed Commander leather to make this boot stand out while keeping the boot fully waterproof and maintaining its crazy durability.

Good Pair of Boots

These boots are good, really good. There's something about the leather, the stitching, the shape that really just looks good. And they are goodyear welt, so the construction is top notch. If you take care of them, you'll get 30 years out of them.

And unlike cheap shoes and boots, you can get them resoled.

Dragon Boot in London Fog

Kory

First, its hard to "road test" any pair of boots, because if the are marked up, it becomes a return issue. That being said, the Dragon Boot I tried on fit my foot well. I liked that the "scaly" texture of the boot for a more worn look. The boot is a bit heavier and the sole was a bit stiffer than another pair of boots I own from Thursday Boot. Each of these boots have things I like. The dragon Boot is waterproof, looks great with jeans and has a nice comfortable fit for my foot. However, I do think the boots should be made in half sizes. The only reason I returned the boots is the price. The other pair of boots I own and used for comparison are also a well made product, a bit lighter, a bit more flexible with the sole and a lower price point. I would have liked to add the Dragon Boot to my collection, but the price point made the most impact for me at this point in time. I would love to re-visit when a sale is on which may allow me to afford that purchase.
