How to measure your foot
Measure Your Foot
  • Put a piece of paper on the ground next to a wall
  • Standing firmly on the piece of paper with your heel slightly touching the wall, mark the paper where your foot is the longest (most likely at the tip of your big toe)
  • With a ruler, measure the distance from the wall to the mark on the paper (indicating the longest part of your foot)
  • Take that measurement and match it with a measurement in the “Inches” column in the size chart.
  • Wear socks when measuring your feet
  • Measure your feet at the end of the day, as your feet tend to expand throughout the day
  • Measure both of your feet, as one may be bigger than the other

Product Details
All of our shoes are fully-lined with soft calfskin leather, which means ultimate comfort. Most companies will only partially line their shoes, but we go the extra mile because it means a more comfortable shoe and less break-in time.
We only use vegetable-tanned, chromium-free, full-grain leathers. These high quality leathers makes our shoes durable and comfortable. We partner with the best mills and tanneries in the world to produce bold styles using the most unique leathers in the world.
Our leathers are painted, stained, and burnished by hand. Creating a unique shoe means not being limited on what we can design…finishing the shoes by hand gives us total freedom in our products and makes every single pair a unique piece of art.
All of our patterns are cut by hand. We do not use molds or lasers to cut the leather. This takes much more time but it allows for only the best sections of a hide to be used.
This shoe is made using the classic Goodyear Welt Construction. This method allows for easy resoling, longevity, and added water-resistance. Goodyear welt construction is the most labor intensive type of shoe construction and the result is a beautiful shoe that will last you a long time.

A thing of beauty

I fell in love with these boots immediately! They can seem intimidating with the chain on the toe but these boots instill confidence in the sole ;) nonstop compliments and inquiries of where I purchased them. I get stopped every time I go out. The quality is 2nd to none; don’t even get me started on the comfort.

The Grail Boot - sweet like honey?

So to be totally fair to these shoes and the purpose that most people probably have in mind for them, they really do look amazing. I don't know who came up with the crazy idea of putting a brass chain over the instep, but I'm glad he or she did. It's sophisticated without being gaudy, and people can't help but notice. But the reason for this being a four star review is the comfort factor. WARNING: do not try to break in these bad boys all at once. Going for a long walk when they're right out the box is asking for major blisters and major trouble. But if you do it more gradually, the leather will conform to your foot and you can where them anywhere (within reason). No doubt about it though, these are worth the bucks.

The Holy Grail

These are my 3rd pair and i have to say they are making making the rest of my shoes look superficial. I love Italian leather. I don’t know but i think The Grail might be your next signature shoe
