The shoes look great and are true to size in length. The jack boots I purchased are a little tight over the top of my foot but theses jack shoes are very tight over the top of my feet. Taft is the only shoe brand that I’ve had this problem. I kept them in the hopes they will stretch out... they look that good.

The fit is a bit different, I’m normally a 10 in most shoes, but with Taft the 7 ended up being the best fit. The 8 was too large, the 7 was small but will need to stretch them out. Would of been a dream if they had half sizes. The quality and workmanship is amazing, although I’m not sure how it happened but the coloring/stain on the footbed bled all over my rug in my bathroom, potentially due to the moisture on the rug, idk. The other odd thing was that the left shoe was much much tighter than the right shoe, not sure if that’s due to being handmade, and I get some people have a wider foot than the other, but I’ve bought endless pairs of shoes and have yet to run into this issue. So tight my foot was falling asleep. Regardless, the shoe is beautiful, with just a few growing pains. Ryan in customer support was amazing to deal with.

I love my shoes, Originally wanted Jack Boot, but they were not available so I settled for the Jack Shoe. I thought I was settling but actually the shoes are just as beautiful! I get many compliments and looking to sporting them for many years to come!
