Once your order is placed, it will ship within one business day. Orders placed Friday afternoon through Sunday or on holidays will be shipped on the next business day. Standard shipping takes four to seven business days, depending on your location. Shipments to Canada will take approximately one to two weeks.
We accept returns and exchanges within 14 days of the receipt of your product. If you need to exchange or return your shoes, please let us know within 14 days. Requests after that time will be denied. Go to exchanges.taftclothing.com to get started.
Occasionally, we will do a special production run for special sizing or colors of a specific product. In those cases, we are unable to accept returns, as we produced the shoes specifically for you.
Returns are NOT accepted on Seconds or Final Sale items.
Returns are accepted on Sale items, however, there will be a $10 restocking fee.
Pre-orders/Made-to-Order shoes can be returned, but only store credit will be given. No refunds.

Yes! We want to make sure your shoes fit you just right. If you need to exchange for a smaller or larger size, we are happy to offer that free of charge in the US. We will cover the shipping charges both ways to get you the right fitting pair. Just email email@example.com and we will get it done quickly. Exchange requests must be completed within 30 days of receipt of your product. Requests after that time will be denied.

To anyone considering a purchase from outside of the United States: Your order will be subject to duties and taxes on top of the purchase price of your shoes. We do not cover these costs and they will be billed directly to you. Payment of these duties is typically required before final delivery. The tax/duty rate is dependent on your location and is subject to fluctuation.
Also, all prices on our site are listed in US Dollars. If you are purchasing outside in the US (in CAD, EUR or anything else), you will be charged the USD equivalent of the price in your local currency, subject to daily exchange rates and whatever fees/exchange rate your bank or credit card will charge. We take no responsibility for these currency-related costs and encourage you to understand them before purchasing.
Unfortunately we live in a time of rampant porch-thievery and our packages are no exception to the rule. We would ask that you take whatever steps you can to ensure a safe delivery of our product to you. For some, this may include shipping to your place of work or to a friend/family member that you know will be home to receive them.
In the case of stolen packages: We unfortunately cannot take responsibility for crooks' actions. If a package is showing as delivered but is not physically at your delivery address, your first recourse is to local authorities. After contacting the local authorities, we would recommend you file a claim with the shipping carrier (currently either FedEx or USPS), which may reimburse you up to shipping and the price of the shoes/boots. We will soon be offering an insurance product that will offer even more protection against porch thieves. Stay tuned for that.
Our boots and dress shoes run big. If you typically wear a half size, please size down to the nearest whole size. If you typically wear a size 9 in most dress shoes, you should order that same size. If you normally wear a size 9.5, you should size down to a 9.
Our sneakers run closer to true to size. Most people will wear the same size in our sneakers as they do in our boots and shoes. If you have a pair of TAFT shoes or boots and they are tight on you, we recommend that you size up in our sneakers.

We are working hard to manage our inventory and make sure we can have your size available. We will try and bring back older styles as often as possible. Be sure to sign up for the Back-in-Stock notifications on the product page to be the first to know when a shoe is back in stock.

All Taft shoes are design to match standard US dress shoe sizes. However, to ensure the perfect fit, please make sure:
All our shoes are standard D width. If you have wide feet, please select next size up.
If you wear in-between sizes, please size down for Taft boots and shoes.
Do not order your sneaker size. Please size down 0.5 - 1 US number.
In general, our shoes run slightly big. We suggest you size down if you are between sizes.
